I think I deserve around a B+ to an A! I have completed all of the assignments on time, and I'm almost positive I have completed all of the blog posts for the class. I think that I tried to the best of my ability to complete the assignments as instructed. I participated to the best of my ability~! For the first project, I dove into writing html&css coding that I pretty much forgot in order to turn the essay into a multimodal essay. For the second project, I spent a lot of time looking around the internet to find what the actual trends are for my subculture - learning about the norms in order to do like a "a day in the life of" section for an Ullzanger. Lastly... well, I guess I just really liked my assignment sheet! :) I enjoyed this class. Everything was laid out in a way that I wasn't ever too stressed about the work, thank goodness (other classes didn't really give me that benefit).
Honestly, my new semester goals are JUST to graduate. I've got hardcore senioritis. I'm tired. I just want to be done. C+ is my goal. Just kidding. Kinda. Once I graduate, my plans might be to start applying to graduate schools or... planning what I'm going to do afterwards. Not really all that sure. But, I know I want to be done with Rowan. Oh, I have an intership with the writing arts department (professor Kopp) next semester, I hope to do my best with that and to acquire some good tech skills/references!
I think I want to make an assignment sheet as if I was in a creative writing course. I think I want to make the assignment about researching a place they've never been to and using it as a setting of a scene from a story. They will have to choose a scene from a story they've already read and change the setting to the researched place. They must add additions to the story, with the characters manipulating different things from the scene. Students must include one thing in the scene (from the setting) that must be researched, something you wouldn't know about the scene from just looking at a picture (maybe a smell, or certain feeling, or an object).
The change of the setting must change the feeling and overall atmosphere of the scene. I think my project is going to be for high school students. |
